In many cultures, the elephant may represent prosperity, power, grace, loyalty and/or wisdom.
Throughout history elephants have been revered and honored by many cultures. They are a symbol of power, strength, wisdom, vitality, and longevity and are famed for their memory and intelligence. The Hindu god Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, has the head of an elephant; and in Buddhism, elephants are Celestial beings said to have offered wishes and flowers to Buddha.
